The Galaxy Note 8 is about to come within the next few weeks. More rumors and leaks are coming but most of them arrive with no strong evidence. Today we have more accurate leaks from the CEO of Slickwraps, Jonathan Endicott, who shared a 3D CAD drawing of the Galaxy Note 8.
Though we can’t get much from the leaked image, we can see a dual camera setup on the back which are placed horizontally. So it is highly possible that the Note 8 will arrive with rear dual cameras.
Base on the latest research note from analyst from KGI Securities Ming-chi Kuo, the Galaxy Note 8’s dual-camera hardware will be better than those on the iPhone 7 Plus. He also said that the dual-camera on the Note 8 will be the most important upgrade for the handset.
The Galaxy Note 8 is said to be equipped with a 13MP wide-angle lens and a 12MP telephoto lens. These cameras will feature optical image stabilization (OIS) and six element lenses as well as three times optical zoom capability.
According to Ming-chi Kuo, the Galaxy Note 8 will have a 6.4in QHD+ Super AMOLED display, and will be powered by either Exynos 8995 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processing hardware. Rumors also suggest that the phablet will be available in two storage variants: 64GB and 128GB along with expandable storage support up to 256GB.
Reports suggest Samsung is testing the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with Android Nougat, so we can expect to see the handset to be launched with Android Nougat. From here we can also expect to see the phablet launched before Android Oreo. Recent report suggest that the Galaxy Note 8 will be released in August and will debut at an event in New York on August 26.
